It won't be Virgin (on the ridiculous) - their "fibre-optic network" is
predominantly ratty old coax (the cheapest rubbish they could buy) and
they've had to stop the spurious advertising claims.
Their "20Mb/s" service is actually ~5 Mb/s with very occasional faster
bursts, and their "unlimited" service is actually capped - if you try to
download much, the STM kicks in, and you get < 1Mb/s for 24 hours as
their way of telling you off.
ALL of Virgin's advertising is at variance with the reality of their
"service" - they can't deliver all the TV channels they advertise in
most areas, their phone service is ~2X as expensive as BT, and their
internet "service" is a poor joke.
