Tony Tolver spent a lot of effort as a printer trying to get the
commercial Computer Concepts "Impression" package to do what he wanted on
the Acorn Archimedes computers. He received and tested sometimes several
proposed changes per day until it did much of what Tethys would like to do,
and my most recent update is from about 1996.
Not long after that the package was re-written and marketed as Corel
Xara, but then I heard that it had been released as an Open Source package
called Xara Xtreme. A quick google has found "xaraxtreme" for Linux.
