Yes, though it does go through Squid operating as an anti-spam
anti-virus proxy.
I've just tried login without the proxy, and works - even without
Javascript. Cookies are required though.

Went to http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/sa/index.htm
then clicked on "Log in to file your tax return online"
in the "Do it online" section.
I haven't tried altering any returns, though I view all the
previous returns.
