[Gllug] Booting HP 2450p with any distro

Chaps,

Work gave me a decent-looking HP 2450p to play with. Came with Vista so I created a live USB key with unetbootin so that I could keep the contents of the disk intact. 

Problem is that I get no graphics at all! 
Vga=[all of the options under the sun]

Any more options or pointers? The USB key boots fine on other workstations and laptops.
