I must admit to a similar response to Phil's about NetSol.

I also agree with (the other) David, and prefer to (?risk) do such
business with smaller companies, particularly those run with a large
dose of geekiness amongst the business skills; and to know at least some
of the (real) people who will get things done (let's face it, you don't
expect to talk to them v.often, but when you do...). see also DSL
discussions and mention of Andrews and Arnold/AAisp!

Accordingly I have had hosting with JAB in Cardiff (servers in
Manchester ?and LON ?Telehouse, as per usual), and it was only recently
that the Accounts Manager/Director was moseying through his records and
recalled that I was indeed one of their early-adopters. Mind you: am not
sure it grants me any special grace or favor! When I heard they were
coming through to LON (a Linux show perhaps?) I made the effort to meet
them in-person, and v-v. Accordingly I've never hesitated to make
suggestions for improvements/better ways to relate to clients...
(as if I could be stopped!?)

They use Plesk (love it or hate it), and thus one may mess-about with
domain and sub-domain IP addresses to the heart's content, eg host the
www.whatever server with them and blog.whatever on the (fixed IPaddr)
home DSL line... At the accounts level there is WHMCS (or in some other
sequence of those letters) which enables purchasing and renewing etc,
locking and unlocking of domainNMs...

gvim: if interested, call them direct, ask for Andy or Jonathan, and
drop my name into the conversation for whatever (dis)advantage.
Alternatively I could add under my reseller umbrella...

Regards,
=dn
