Hello Lucy,
Gaining access to your hard disk. You can remove your laptop hard disk
put in a caddy - take hard disk to pc-world to get the right one - it
will be "active" via your usb - on a laptop or desktop. You can then
recover your data - hopefully running any linux distro. hope this helps
