Then I can only assume you haven't worked in that environment. I
remember the struggle to get places to accept even Red Hat as a viable
support some years ago, simply because they weren't big enough or well
known enough. That's changed now, but it still very much applies to
Canonical. I think you're underestimating how conservative some of
these places are.
