[Gllug] Ubuntu Maverick upgrade

Hi Matt,

I use Ubuntu 9.10 on an Acer laptop - all upgrades screw up my machine -
I consider all upgrades as downgrades. I lost 14 years of data - so
stick with an old version - consider all upgrades as dangerous.
