Yes, but you still have to factor in that blasted Windows license just
to get the bloody thing up and running.  At least VMware Player was/is
free.

People may complain that Apple doesn't listen to professionals in the
industries they're (seemingly) trying to target (after all the wailing
over Final Cut Pro X), but you can also say the same about Adobe in
many ways.
