It does indeed, but seems to imply that this is what the designers ran
Blender on.  The film was rendered on a network of Sun servers
(http://www.bigbuckbunny.org/index.php/our-renderfarm-and-how-it-works/).
Nowadays one would call it a "cloud".  Sun donated the time, which is
just as well considering how expensive both clouds and Sun servers
are.
