[Gllug] QT GUI Project

This, as usual is turning out to be a quite interesting discussion.
Specially the post from John Hearns where he mentions that a big oil player
is actually using Linux.

However we are a bit missing the point of my post. I am actually looking for
some help in revamping out GUI in QT.

Do you guys think it is the platform to go in terms of having a true
multiplatform highly specialized engineering software.
Mind that the number crunching work is done in Fortran and indeed we already
supply Linux versions of the library (AKA DLL in other platforms).
