Lash it up yourself does work -- although I have a feeling that it's
easy to build something that works for a while, and then runs out of RAM
(judging from Adrian Kernard's comments about testing such things at the
UKUUG Spring Conf.), since the WRT type boxen were not really speced for
doing lots of extra stuff.

I currently have OpenWRT running on WHR3-G54 & WHR-HP-G54 Buffalo
routers, and the one that's on an Enta line does IPv6 fine. I've also
got IPv6 via SixXS on the C&W line I also have from Jason, so there's no
reason not to have IPv6 just because you're ISP cannot deliver it direct
to your door.

It seems to work fine so far, although I've not found much reason to use
it so far, and I'm still taking baby steps trying to get the VMs on my
server to have a sensible IPv6 setup (sadly also tunnelled at present,
with he.net this time, just so that I'm trying out different providers).

It seems I'm shifting about 5% of the www.uk.debian.org traffic via
IPv6, which looking at the graphs probably indicates that a couple of my
downstream mirrors are using it, but not many others.

Out of the box though -- ask Adrian is perhaps your best bet -- he's
been trying to find something for years, and reckons he's close.

OpenWRT just works (for me) these days though. As one can see here
https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/TheOnionRouter/Torouter the
TorRouter folks seem to fancy this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0028ACYEK
which does look like a nice bit of kit. I'd guess if they think its up
to running Tor, it should manage IPv6 as well or at least instead.

Cheers, Phil.
