It is just possible that there was just something else going on here 
over and above what they have disclosed. Nothing to do with you at all.

They also may be using the word technologies when they meant "management 
processes" - in which case you might have had a luck escape. Plug ITIL 
into Google. :-)

Maybe chalk it to experience and carry on as you can until the right 
match for you comes along?
