   I think they are usually totally different hardware, with a standard
plug-in card carrying the wireless system. I would always expect them to
have different MAC addresses. I noticed that the ethernet hardware showed a
MAC address before the ethernet cable was connected, but is that always
consistent? Does it change when the cable is connected?
