[GLLUG] Aliases with Debian Exim4

Hi Chris,

Can you show us your actual exim4 configuration file and the *full*
destination address of a sample e-mail rejected as "Unrouteable"?

There's one gotcha which has had me a couple of times. Before it even
looks at /etc/aliases, exim4 wants to satisfy itself that it is
delivering the mail item to the right system.

So if you have a piece of mail addressed to "chris at mysystem.co.uk" then
you'll get that error if exim4 doesn't have "mysystem.co.uk" down in its
list of systems for which it considers itself the final destination -
even if that is its DNS address.

Cheers,
John
