Thanks to everybody who gave me help with my modem problem. I am now send= ing=20 this email from kmail in Mandrake 9(Woohoo!!). This was the answer to my problems: rm /dev/modem (enter) ln -s /dev/ttySHCF0 /dev/modem (enter) This gave the link: modem to ttySHCF0 in /dev/. Cheers Jason Watts
