[Gloucs] OpenOffice templates again

Right.

Taking Jilly's suggestion of importing StarOffice 5.2 Presentation
templates into OpenOffice I googled it down to simply:

Open StarOffice .vor file e.g.:
/usr/local/office52/share/template/english/presnt/standard.vor
and save it as a OO .sti file.

Fine, except where do you save it? I've installed both SO and OO as
multiuser/network installations and saving the file under your home
directory seems a little pants. The parent template dir of OO is

/usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/share/template/english

but I'm lost as to where an Impress file should be saved. For added
spice, I'd like this template to come up in the wizard.

Before I have to research the ins and outs of OO templates and wizards,
does anyone know how to do this?

Arrrrggggghhh! Just found File > Templates but still no clearer on where
the .sti template should live.
