Doing that has crossed my mind several times.  However, my latest
thought is to bite the bullet and go for Debian 3.  After Iain's talk at
a previous meeting I've mean playing with apt-get under Redhat, it works
really nicely.  Installing/using Debian can't be that hard can it?
