Well, it's a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold...
Has many buttons...

=2E.. and it more or less worked 'out of the box' with my SuSE system.

Having said all that, I've only used it with FlightGear and the jstest=20
programmes... so I'm not exactly an expert.
