How about Enterprise linux? (To cover building many hosts from common
profiles, post install config/securing etc...)
Roll your own RPMs
IPTables
IP Route2 and TC

Not sure what 'long' and 'short' relate to in time, however I suspect
Enterprise linux style stuff will be long (Lots to cover), whereas Roll
your own RPMs might be 'medium'
