It's also possible that Suse hasn't started Samba or that a config file=20
error is preventing it from starting. Can you check that the samba=20
service is running? The processes are normally called smbd and nmbd.=20
There should be a graphical tool for checking which services are=20
enabled/running.

Failing that, at the root shell prompt:
  pgrep smbd
&
  pgrep nmbd

should give some idea.

If that shows that the processes are running, try:

smbstatus -L //localhost -U %

should list the available services. If all that works the problem will=20
probably be the Konqueror configuration. If not, if you can post the=20
command outputs and the smb.conf file (probably in the /etc/samba=20
directory), it'll probably help.
