Hi All,

Just a shameless promotional note regarding a local computer manufacturer.
Their site is fairly self explanatory http://www.hoojum.com. They are based
in Stroud and design and make just about the best looking computers around
(IMO). The GNU/Linux angle is that they will do Red Hat 9 in the package for
a pittance.

If you want to use their shop to put a stupidly hi spec machine together for
yourself you can spend about 4 grand. However, if you are on a budget you
could just build one as there is a guide.

If you are interested in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP) based sites
this is a pretty good example. John Mckeown may be interested that behind
their store lies OSCommerce. And for their gallery, what else but gallery

Apologies if you already knew about this as they did make the cover of Linux
Format a while back.
