My name is Garry Taylor, I am currently trying to organize a mass Linux
event that will promote Linux to the average user and companies alike. I
need the help of you and your users to organize and promote this event.
I plan on having:

Stalls for Red-hat, Mandrake and other distros / Applications and
Desktops
Debate and meeting rooms on all topics Linux
Talks on Linux Security
Guest stars (Richard Stallman and the like)

What you can do

Promote the event on your LUG web site (July 1st 2004 place to be
arranged)
Email or phone any contacts you have that may be able to help or attend
the event
Contact local companies/schools/Uni's and colleges informing them of
the event
Email me with idea that you have about the event
TaylorG@southport-college.ac.uk

If you are willing to help with this event then please email me. I will
show you the list of LUG's currently evolved in this event and what is
organized so-far.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you
