Er... just picked up this email off the lug.org.uk server - it had been

Matthew - hope you don't mind me sending this one on to the list even 8

Hope the problem is either already fixed, or soon about to be by someone

All,

I've just installed Gentoo 1.4, its great, but I can't mount my win98
drive unless i'm root!

My fstab has the entry:

/mnt/windows /dev/hda1 vfat auto,users 0 0

which I think is correct, but I still get a permissions failure when I
try to cd to the dir.  Wierd whing is that XMMS will list the files but
not the directory...

All help appreciated
