There's what appears to be a brand new PostgreSQL certification come
out. Repost of the marketing blurb I got sent here if it's of any
interest to and Postgresql people out there;

Short version:

"PostgreSQL CE is the certification for the system development engineer,
maintenance engineer, consultants and trainers using PostgreSQL DB"


Long version:

"Founded in 1967, Software Research Associates, Inc. (SRA) is one of
Japan's oldest and largest independent software houses. Along with its
traditional focus on custom software development, in recent years SRA
has expanded its offerings to include services and products in the areas
of open systems, multimedia, reengineering, mobile computing,
outsourcing, and end-user computing. SRA provides consulting, custom

industries as varied as public utilities, finance, manufacturing, and
information processing. PostgreSQL CE is the certification for the
system development engineer, maintenance engineer, consultants and

October 1, 2004 and beginning March 1, 2005 exams will be delivered

Basically it's available at any VUE centre.
