With yum on FC3 you have to do something similar in order to use the 
official testing repository and others such as dag and livna. Well, 
that's what Iain told/showed me.

So I think you've done the right thing.

Hmmm. Not overly reassuring is it when you fiddle with security related 
stuff with no real understanding of it?
