Hi Chris,

Many thanks for this item.  I have now decided to leave ekiga on one 
side,  and return
to my  Linksys SPA921 -  after all that was the real goal - the ekiga 
experiment enable me to get my
sipgate account running !

Please does the  advice below apply to ekiga,  to the SPA921,  or 
perhaps to both ?

I do use a static IP,  but the phone seems to revert to DHCP.
I note that the stun port 10000 is non-standard.
Are these ports TCP or UDP ?

I hope you have a good Christmas.  Tomorrow I shall be inspecting all 
the mile-posts and distance markers (which I try to maintain)
between Winchcombe and Cheltenham Racecourse on the Gloucestershire 
Warwickshire Railway.
