In case people were wondering, James emailed me via the list
admin address to ask if he could post job adverts to our list.  I
suggested that he could subscribe to the list and test the water
himself. I also suggested he look into using the linux job list instead:

I'm not sure what the lack of replies means.  I certainly would not
want lots of job adverts posted here but one every now and again might
be OK.  May be we could briefly discuss this at the next meeting.
