Most High Street recruitment agencies, aint worth their weight in salt.
They only worry about getting temps in jobs to boost their
commission /wages. Half dont even care if your fully qualified, as long
as you have enough IQ to get through the job. (Well thats standard jobs
like Admn etc)

I would have thought that a LUG would be rather specialised. This chap
has signed up to the SLUG as well. So he's recruiting for specialised
jobs, not your standard High Street Reed, Adecco, Office Angels here,
but specialised area. So I wouldnt have thought you would get that many
agencies signing up.

Again my first post rules, its all about getting butts in jobs. Most
high street agencies wont bother doing 30 mins work, they only want to
do 5 mins work, get someone in the job and thats that.

Again, as Linux is a specialised area, and with the work needed, and the
amount of money we're talking here, I think only genuine recruiters will
sign up and ask. He's obviously switched on enough to know the "Very"
basics of Linux, so knows that you guys are slightly more intelligent
than your average paper pusher. So Im going to shoot myself in the foot
and say that I dont think your get *that* big a problem.

Thanks
Phillip
