According to:
http://www.debianadmin.com/how-to-configure-webcam-in-debian-linux.html
I should just be able to do:
sudo apt-get install gspca-source
cd /usr/src
bunzip gspca.tar.bz2
tar xvf gspca.tar
cd modules/gspca
make
However, the make fails with:
/usr/src/modules/gspca/gspca_core.c: In function ‘spca5xx_probe’:
/usr/src/modules/gspca/gspca_core.c:4301: error: incompatible types in
assignment
make[2]: *** [/usr/src/modules/gspca/gspca_core.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [_module_/usr/src/modules/gspca] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.28-15-generic'
make: *** [default] Error 2
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 (JJ)
Anyone else have this trouble and/or know of a simple fix?
