[Gloucs] how can I control bass/treble?

Hi,

I've had a quick Google and I can't find anything to control tone on my sound output. I'm a bit miffed that such a simple feature doesn't seem to be readily available.

I have an hda intel card with no dedicated hardware control so presumably I need some sort of software plugin somewhere.

KDE tells me that I am using GStreamer as a 'backend' and ALSA sits below. I know that I can control tone in some media players but I'd like it to be system wide so things like Flash have the same settings.

Is there really nothing built in to ALSA for this?
