I was talking to someone last night about the Linux version of 'logging into
a windows domain'.

Ubuntu seams to have a fairly detailed article regarding this, using
OpenLDAP and Kerberos to replace ActiveDirectory and Windows Domain.

This solutions would probably work on any linux/unix, with slight tweaks in
the setup of each product.
