[Gloucs] MP3 editing software

Looking for some software to mix some MP3's together for a wedding
disco ideally so you don't have a break between tunes. Simple cross
fading to full beat matching considered (would be good if it didn't
sound like a horse being pushed down the stairs).

The ideal solution would be some Linux software that did this all automatically.

Open Source for the Scottish OS also considered as would be
recommendations for pay-for software for any OS.

I remember Dragons Den having some chap push his software for auto
beat matching downloads. Anyone know if any MP3 sellers ( e.g. Amazon)
can do this?

And please, no Ogg Vorbis lectures. :)
