[Gloucs] Back Track 5

BT5 does not come with rainbow tables of any sort.

What rainbow tables do is in a round about way pre compute the hash values
in order to create a look up table. (This is not strictly true but it's prob
the best way to think about it for now.)

Do you understand what a salt of a hash is?

I have plenty of rainbow tables, WPA (although remember that wpa hashes are
salted with the ssid so each ssid requires a table)
NTLM (by default microsoft hash implementations do not use a salt) and can
be easily found on the net.

I'm off to vegas next week in order to go to Defcon so am a bit busy ;-)

Maybe at the next LUG meet i could install it for you?

Matt
