I have an impressive collection of 35mm black and white negatives, and an even bigger one of 35mm colour slides. Can any linux-based photographers recommend the best way to scan my pictures into jpegs ? I am using a variety of Ubuntus, with other linuxes available, but this is a Micro$oft free zone.
