[Gloucs] Libreoffice on Debian squeeze.

Bingo !  I followed your instructions, and I now have a working Libreoffice system.
I tested it as a word processor, and it is fine.

Please can you explain the "-t" used in install ?  It is not on my apt-get  cheat sheet.

Lastly, my sincere thanks for your kind help.

Whoops, I owe you a slight apology: I installed from Squeeze Backports.
You need this in your sources.list:

deb http://backports.debian.org/debian-backports squeeze-backports main

...and then install with

# apt-get install -t squeeze-backports libreoffice
