Have found the type of BIOS chip which is an Atmel 8MB flash so lots of 
room to hide things in.
Was going to do a hardware fix:- ie do a force clear on chip with some 
jumpers BUT HEY HO !.
The M/C now seems to be dead ! light on M/brd but no one at home !.
