[Gloucs] PDF files.

Please can anyone confirm that Adobe (or whever) have upgraded .PDF files leaving most Linux/LaTeX/etc.  users behind.

Converting the output of LaTeX to good old .pdf  no longer seems to work
for email forwarding.

I wish to confirm whether I have to use a further conversion from file.pdf
to file.pdf2.1

It has worked in one case.

Will the FLOSS comunity have to upgrade,  or am I on the wrong track?
