Hello David,

The person you want, I think, is Box. I can let you have Mandrake 10
Community if you like.  Now, there was a glitch on those cd's and you had to
boot from disk 2 then go back to disk 1.
Go and have a look on the Mandrake site and see if there is anything there,
probably FAQ, about your problem.

"my machine is now in a state where I can't boot"   How about a quick format
to get a clean start.
