[Herefordshire] Mambo install

We progress a little further.

I have found that by starting xampp in a terminal window I can the bring up
the opening page in the browser, i.e.. phpmyadmin. Wouldn't come up on the
browser under localhost.

The opening page allows several options and a way into mysql to create a
database. However there is a large warning notice about the fact that it is
insecure as it is using the default msql password [Andrew pointed this out].
However I can see no way to change of set a new password.

Anyone any ideas?

Noel.

We shall get there in the end!
