Thanks Julian life saver.. over the weekend I put to the task of installing
counterstrike & halfilfe through steam. I have now managed this but when I
started playing I was pinging the server at 700 instead of the normal 50. I
thought install the Nvidia drivers & run in openGL boom black screen when I
rebooted totally locked up so started in failsafe mode. & followed your
instructions... NICE... didn't have to format my machine again.
