Try http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/ this has all the codec you
need to run windows media files & mpg2 files DVDs ect.
The file you will be interested in is
http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/w32codec-0.52-1.i386.rpm its about
the 5th from the bottom...

Hi Noel,

Xine or MPlayer (or one of their frontends, kaffeine for example) should
play
it.

You might need to install w32codecs from a package repository for your
distribution. The packman yast repository for SuSE has these packages of
questionable legality, Not using mandrake I don't know what repository you
would use but i'm told http://plf.zarb.org/ should have them.
