[Herefordshire] blender

hello all,

i've been getting to grips with qcad and it's fairly easy to pick it
up by experimenting. it's come in useful for some of the stuff i do at
work.

i want to do some 3d work too so i've downloaded blender (
http://www.blender.org/ ), this is a lot more complicated and less
intuitive, so i've downloaded the huge 600+ page tutorial that comes
with it. has anyone out there used it?
