I have.  It takes a while to learn because it's a lot of complex
commands and many, many keyboard shortcuts (that are very useful when
you've learnt how to use it).  In fact the most useful is the space bar.

I'd recommend the following tutorials to get you going first of all. See
 [1] for a whole load of them.  A quick-start guide that goes through
all the basics for the UI is at [2]. Finally the tutorial I used which
is a great introduction (and you get a pretty picture at the end) is in
two parts [3] [4] (this tutorial covers an earlier version of Blender
but should be applicable).

For your own amusement see [5] (my first effort). :-)
