[HLUG] Group Project - Suggestions please

I like the idea of the LFS box.

This would help people get their head around kernel workings, etc (I 
know I struggle with some things - like solving the IRQ problem on 
2.6.13 on my laptop).

The MP3 box is also a good idea, but for other uses for me - no car.
Some form of portable box that you plug into a hi-fi or something?
