hi tim,

xgl sounded familiar, but i couldn't remember what is was so i looked
it up on wikipedia.

it looks pretty good. i noticed at the bottom that they had a link to
an ubuntu xgl howto. apparently there are already xgl packages for
dapper and this howto tells you how to install it and get it running.
