hi.

In addition, I believe that BT Internet requires you to log on using SMTP authentication.  Some providers also want you to use SSL.

Hi, have you configured your outgoing smtp server settings? You will  
need to put these in to send. the server address should be something  
like smtp.example.com or mail.example.com. You also need to enter your  
username, which is normally your email address. Your isp should have  
sent these details when you signed up.

  Do you get any error messages when trying to send?
