[HLUG] ubunut 7.04 /bin/sh can't access tty; job control mode off error

it's the noel pc i was lent by hlug,
maybe i'll bring it back on wednesday,
itwould be nice to have it working next weekend
when hordes of rainbows are visiting me
but i havnt the time to learn a new operating system by then!
