[HLUG] Hard drive partitioning

It just means that the repartitioning would have taken longer as that 
had to more more stuff around.  A defrag won't do any harm.

The Windows defrag utility is not brilliant.  Auslogics Disk Defrag is 
free here http://www.auslogics.com/disk-defrag and works better.
