Hi Tony,

I've noticed this too, on two pc's that I have upgraded. On a fresh
install it doesn't seem to do this. Both my pc's where the login screen
is too large to fit properly on the screen, use Nvidia drivers, but I
don't know if this is relevant.

I've just looked for a bug report, Try

There is a work around, but I haven't tried it yet. Dont try the
workaround unless you know what you're doing, xorg- reconfigure can be a
pain ..
